We focus on providing healthy and organic living in our teacher training programs. Proper exercise and good food are interrelated in the yogic life. Thus, at Punyah Yoga, the food that we serve are mostly grown in our organic and sustainable land.
Organic farming is a method of crop and livestock
production that involves much more than avoiding the
use of pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified
organisms, antibiotics and growth hormones.
Punyah
Yoga believes that we should always try to give back
what we have taken from the nature. Thus, our goal
in organic farming is to develop a way of food
production that benefits human health and at the
same time, live harmoniously with the
environment.
By the end of 2019, we hope
to have our organic garden up and running to provide
food to both our students and our teachers. Before
our farm is fully functional, we strive to provide
our students with healthy, yogic food that is as
organically sourced as possible. Meals are always
vegan or vegetarian.
We are preparing
ourselves to be fully equipped with organic
resources of food and reduce the consumption of any
chemicals substances to a great extent. We are also
aiming to reduce our carbon footprint as much as
possible and create a space for sustainable and
chemical-free lifestyle.
